Melvin Theodore Raetzman

Melvin Raetzman, 87, of Coppell Texas passed away on August 19th, 2024. Born and raised in Wetonka, South Dakota, he was the son of the late Henry and Martha Raetzman. Mel was honorably discharged from the United States Air Force in October 1961. He was the beloved husband of Maureen Raetzman, married for 52 years. Devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather, he is survived by son, Steven and wife Susan; son Stuart, wife Chris, granddaughter Brittany and husband Arleigh and great grandsons Tripp, Connor and Hampton, granddaughter Lauren and husband Adam and great granddaughter Isla; son Drew, wife Melissa and grandsons Will and Luke; and son Alan, wife Rebecca and stepsons Jackson and Jacob. He will be missed by many loving friends and family. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Wounded Warriors.
