Dear Linda, Dawn, Dean and families, Please know we are with you in heartfelt thoughts and prayers. We loved Mel, too, and he surely had a positive impact on our lives! How-else might we have been assigned to our IFYE experience in Turkey?? If not for him, we would not have even known where that was! He had us figured right! Married almost 65 years now! Cok tesekkur ederim, Mel!
Through the years and our annual letters, we have grown to know Linda and each of you...he did share the blessings of his much-loved family!
Periodically we would get a whole packet of information, usually relating to Turkey, IFYE. or scripture...that he thought we had a shared interest in! Loved it!
And surely you have you heard about Mel's "Pineapple Upside Down Cake" 4-H Demonstration! It is famous in Michigan.
Tesekkur ederim for making it possible for us to attend, back here in Illinois, his memorial service. It was a true blessing and inspiration, as was his life! God bless you all, especially now.
IFYEs to Turkey, 1957, Michigan & Illinois, Norm and Barbara Boyd Bauer.
