Melvin Twyne was a wonderful, Lovely, caring man. A beautiful Grandfather to Melony, Jordyn, Lucas and Jonathan, a wonderful husband to Miss Amanda. I´ll never forget Melvin who he was a person that show me road trips to beach, casinos and learn that he was a star football player for the Minnesota Vikings. I wish me and Melvin could have gone to a football game to see his favorite team Vikings. Mr. Melvin makes the world´s best fried wings, no one can´t cook wings like Melvin. And one thing I´ll never never forget about Mr. Melvin is every time we had a road trip towards Galveston passing Houston he always point to Sam Houston and say (There Fat Albert). But I show miss him a lot. Thank you Melvin Vernon Twyne for giving a chance to know you and see what a beautiful, wonderful, respectful man and an amazing grandfather in the world. I love you and miss you dearly Melvin Vernon Twyne.

Uncle Junie was the greatest uncle to have. He was always understanding, strong, supportive & a good listener with lots of wise advice & tons of knowledge. I will miss all the road trips we had since I was a teenager. He was my partner when playing cards & I enjoyed the friendly competition playing Uno with him & my beautiful Aunt Amanda. He has provided me with so many wonderful memories. He was a wonderful male role model. He raised two awesome children, Walter & Sofia. He has 4 smart, intelligent & beautiful grand children. He will forever be missed. No one can cook fried chicken wings like him. I you , you´ll forever be in my heart.

The greatest uncle I could ask for. A great spades partner and terrific co pilot for those long family road trips. Uncle Junie had a way of making our family laugh and smile no matter what. Forever loved and forever missed.
