Dear family of Melvin Walker. You have my sincere condolences. He was a great person. He seemed to me to always be happy and shared his joy with everyone around him. The world needs more like him. When we were young kids (yes, I knew him for a long time), he and Bobby would ride on a train to our house in East Texas from the Valley in the summer for a while. He loved to play hard but he loved to eat. He coined a saying about needing sideboards on his plate so he could pile on more! I guess there are lots of memories out there because he touched a lot of lives. Thank you Melvin for sharing your life with us. Rest in peace.
