Meredith Lanae Lee, 37, of Gothenburg, NE, died August 18, 2022 at Cozad Community Hospital in Cozad, NE.She was born April 30, 1985 in Laramie, WY, daughter of Michael D. Garrett and Diana Unterseher.Meredith married Dustin Lee in Albany County, at the American Eagle Lode Claim, to this union two children were born, Kaidence and Braxton.Meredith was a Chef, she loved cooking, food service and serving others. Meredith worked in many food service industries, including, Albany Lodge, Arby's, Whiskey Creek, The Roost in Lisco, The Woodshed in Scottsbluff, the Scottsbluff Country Club and the Nebraska Barn and Grill. She loved being a mom and especially a softball mom.Survivors include her daughter, Kaidence Lila Rhae Lee, Bayard, NE; son, Braxton David Allen Lee, Bayard, NE; mother, Diana (Terry Jessen) Unterseher of Scottsbluff, NE; father, Michael D. Garrett of Laramie, WY; grandfather, Richard Duane Untereseher, Casper, WY; special friends, Rob Buckus, Deb McGee, Brenna Earl. Many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and co-workers.Meredith was preceded in death by her brother, Richard D. Garrett, grandfather, Reverend David Garrett, grandmother, Jean Garrett, grandmother, Pearl Unterseher.Services will be held at Cornerstone Bible Church, 1721 Lake Ave, Gothenburg, NE, Thursday, August 25, 2022 at 2:00 PM with Pastor Scott Newman officiating. Memorials may be given to the Ronald McDonald House, Bayard Tiger Softball team or Morrill County Rockers Softball team.
