Meredith Ann Redmond, 80 of Crooksville, Ohio passed away peacefully at 9:27 PM, Monday, October 27, 2025 at Majestic Care & Rehab in New Lexington.
She was born with her twin sister, Ali in Pasadena, California on Monday, July 9, 1945, the daughters of the late Joseph L. and Patricia (nee: Hurst) Loukota.
Meredith grew up in California and spent the early part of her working career at the Avon plant in Monrovia while raising her children. After moving to Crooksville in 1975, she worked at the Cesco Plant of Ferro Corporation in Crooksville. Later, she worked at Goebel Funeral Home in Crooksville. In 1997, Meredith moved back to Paradise, California, residing with her twin sister, Alison and spent the next 10 years working at Enlo Hospital in Chico, California. Later, she returned to Ohio to be with her beloved children and grandchildren. Meredith enjoyed growing house plants, loved animals and nature and taking road trips listening to music. She was a devoted mother and grandmother and took great pride in those roles.
Left behind to mourn her passing are her children and their spouses, Jack and Claudia Fife, Laura and Marty Redfern and Morgan and Renee Redmond; her grandchildren, Jordan (Jessi) Redfern, Anthony (Bethany )Redfern, Nolan (Jerome) Redfern-Cromwell, Connor Redfern, Tommy (Caitlyn) Crowe, Dorothy Fife, London Baker, Lakota (Bri) Redmond and Trisha (Steve) Bobb; her great-grandchildren, Madelyn Bobb, Malakai Bobb, Poppy Redmond Abigail Crowe and Tommy Crowe and her twin sister, Alison Webb.
In addition to her parents, Meredith was preceded in death by the fathers of her children Jack Fife and Jim Redmond and her brother-in-law, Dennis Webb.
Following cremation, Meredith’s family is laying her to rest at a later date in Rose Hill Cemetery in Roseville.
Meredith’s family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude for the loving care that the staff of Majestic provided to her during her stay with them.
