Merita JoAnn Norman

Merita JoAnn Norman, age 80, of Jonesboro, departed this earth on March 15, 2025. She was born on August 28,1944, and was a graduate of Lafe High School.

JoAnn worked at Craighead County Farm Bureau for 29 years. She was a member of Family Fellowship Baptist Church where she was the pianist for 42 years.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Ada White, and her sister, Sue Gregory.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 60 years Larry Norman; daughters, Crystal Lasky (Sonny) of Maryville, Tennessee and Robyn Fore (Steve) of Powhaten; sisters, Yvonne Watson of Paragould and Elwanda (Bill) Reinhart of Lafe; grandchildren, Jordan (Bray) Brooks of Powhaten, Tadd (MeKenzie) Fore of Mountain Home, and Katelyn (Kevin) Moore of Columbia, Tennessee; and seven great grandchildren.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Bray Brooks, Tadd Fore, Kevin Moore, William Mahan, Henry Mahan, and Jason Mahan.

Visitation will be held at Family Fellowship Baptist Church, 2441 Old Greensboro Rd, Hwy 351, Jonesboro, Arkansas 72401 on Tuesday, March 18th at 10:00 with funeral to follow at 11:00. Officiating the service will be Eddie Gene Wright and Ferrel Duffel. Burial will follow at Providence Cemetery at Lafe.
