I had lost contact with Meriwether, after my family moved to Prince George. She was my next door neighbor for nearly 5 years while we lived on Huguenot Rd. I got to know her quite well, and have fond memories of our long talks. I helped her quite a bit shortly before she entered long term care. I know she's been gone for years now, but I'd like her family to know that I'm sorry for your loss. Meriwether was quite the character!

Meriwether and I were childhood playmates and had wonderful times together. As we went our separate ways, we lost track of each other, and I was so saddened by news of her death. I send thoughts, prayers, and blessings to the family!

I was so sorry to read about Meriwether. We were in high school together. Am sorry I was out of town and missed the funeral. My heart goes out to you all.

I faintly remember Meriwether. My condolences to the family. Have been away from Richmond a long time. My maiden name was Girshin.

Although I didn't know Meriwether personally, it strikes home to remind us all of our mortality. My condolences to her family and friends.
