Merle Ann Marryshow, "Annie" was born on Sept 9, 1959. She is the daughter of William K. Marryshow and Merle P Marryshow. Her parents immigrated from Trinidad and became US citizens. Merle was born in NYC and was bilingual. Her parents moved the family to PA. Merle attended school at Pocono Central Catholic High School and also at Pocono Mountain Public School. In her youth, Merle played the piano and violin. She also ran track. After the passing of both parents. Merle moved to Arlington, VA and lived with her sister, Karen, brother-in-law Benjamin and nephew Stephen, for a year. For the last 3 years of her life, Merle's residence was in Silver Spring, MD. Merle was 65 years old when she passed away, from kidney failure, on Sunday, Feb. 2. Prayer service and interment was held at Gates of Heaven Cemetery in Silver Spring, MD on Feb 7. Merle is survived by 7 other siblings: Keni Kukura, William Marryshow, Joseph Marryshow, Michael Marryshow, Mary Marryshow, Christanthony Marryshow and Karen Maricheau. Merle's favorite pastimes were writing poetry, coloring, singing, making jewelry, listening to music, especially classical, eating her favorite foods, petting dogs, talking with children, visiting with family, socializing with staff and community members. Merle was humorous and she loved to laugh. She loved all things that had leopard patterns. Merle was a beautiful person who was deeply loved by her family. She will be missed by all who knew her.
