Mervyn Gould

Mr. Mervyn Gould, of UK, born on December 17, 1940 in Hemel Hempstead, United Kingdom, to the late Jenny Wise Gould and the late Reginald Gould, passed away at age 77 on July 9, 2018 in New Bern, North Carolina. He was in the Engineering industry working for the North Carolina State Government as an Electrical & Mechanical Engineering until retiring in 2006. Mervyn was married to Robyn. He is survived by his son, Kevan Gould; daughter, Amanda Gould; stepson, Ryan Wood; stepdaughters, Allyson Wood and Lauryn & Andrew Darnell; sister, Sheila Clarke; grandchildren, Collin Caskey and Kierstyn Darnell; and friends, Tom Tompkins and Don & Pat Lambert. He also leaves behind his greatly loved dogs, Raleigh, Ruby and Calvyn. Mervyn loved master gardening, artistry, wood carver, and creating furniture. He was involved at Raleigh Mens Gardening Club. Donations in Mervyn Goulds name to American Diabetes Association are welcome and appreciated. Services will be Private.
