MICAH ROSE N’DÈYE KOUADIO
Micah Rose N’Dèye Kouadio, a much-loved daughter, sister, and friend, passed away on October 30, 2025, at the age of 19. Born on July 18, 2006, Micah’s life was a beautiful reflection of love, faith, and service.
She deeply cherished her family. She was the adored daughter of her mother, Ms. Françoise Dakri, and her father, Marc Kouadio. She was a loving sister to her brothers David and Sam, and sisters Gia, Natalia, and Naomi. She also leaves behind her maternal grandmother Nanan Soumaley Marie-Madeleine Adouko, and her paternal grandmother Rose N’Dèye Kouadio “Tchopi”, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family members who surrounded her with love throughout her life. Micah’s warm smile, generous heart, and gentle spirit touched everyone she met.
Micah was deeply aware of the sacrifices her mother had made to enable her to attend Cathedral High School and pursue her dreams. This gratitude inspired her dedication to her studies, golf and service to others, and she carried it in her heart. Micah’s faith in God was her guiding light. She joyfully served as a Children’s Christmas Choir singer at St John the Evangelist, altar server, and usher at the African and French Masses, where her presence blessed her church community. Her faith was reflected in the compassion, humility and warmth she showed others every day.
Micah attended Cathedral High School, where she started caddying in her first year. Through her dedication and hard work, she was named a National Chick Evans Scholar and was awarded a four-year, full scholarship from the Western Golf Association — an achievement that she wore with great pride. Micah graduated from Cathedral High School on 19 May 2024 and began her college journey full of promise and possibilities.
Micah dreamed of becoming a doctor, a goal that reflected her desire to serve others and her deep desire to comfort and help them. Her compassion, empathy and patience were evident in the way she lived her life, and she had the spirit of a healer within her.
Although Micah’s time with us was far too short, her impact remains profound. Her life was a gift and a shining example of love, faith, perseverance and grace. She will be forever missed and remembered by all who knew and loved her.
