Lawrence "Larry" Shea

GREENFIELD – Lawrence "Larry" Shea, 77, of Greenfield, passed away peacefully on February 27, 2026, at his residence. He was born on May 5, 1948, in Indianapolis to the late Frank P. Shea and Pansy M. (Williams) Shea.

Larry was a graduate of Cathedral High School in Indianapolis. He was known for his big personality, quick wit, and memorable sense of humor that brought smiles to those around him. Larry enjoyed staying entertained and was a devoted fan of WWE, often finding joy and excitement in watching his favorite matches.

Throughout his life, Larry formed many meaningful relationships and was supported by a caring network of friends, family members, and dedicated caregivers who shared in his journey. He will be remembered for his spirited nature and the lasting impression he made on those who knew him. Larry will be deeply missed by all whose lives he touched. He also shared a long-time, special friendship with his best friend, Richard Cook.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Erlewein Mortuary & Crematory, 1484 W. US 40, Greenfield, IN 46140. Larry will be laid to rest at New Palestine Cemetery in New Palestine, Indiana.
