Michael Angelucci, II, was called home by his Heavenly Father on January 20, 2025. Michael was born on February 17, 1982, to Michael Angelucci, Sr. and the late Dana Beveridge-Angelucci. In addition to his father, Michael is survived by his companion of 24 years, Keith Self; his stepmother, Kimberly Angelucci; a sister, Melissa Angelucci; a stepsister Haleigh (Lee) Curtis; his paternal grandmother, Rosemary Angelucci; step-grandmother, Sharon Gump; his father and mother in-law, Larry and Jana Self; brother-in-law, Kevin Self; two nieces, Raelynn and Remi Curtis; his best friend, Larette Woodrum; his beloved fur baby, Henry; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins, all of whom he loved dearly. In addition to his mom, Michael was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Charles and Peggy Beveridge; his paternal grandfather, Joe Angelucci; his aunts, Ginger Moore, Pennie Beveridge; and uncles Jamie Beveridge, Fred Mullenax, and Bruce Muzichuck.
Michael graduated from North Marion High School where his leadership abilities began to flourish. He represented his class as Senior Class President, National Honor Society President, and Husky Hero of the Year. The halls of North Marion High School were where his love for politics and desire to make his community a better place really began to grow. Michael attended Fairmont State Pierpont and Technical College where he obtained his certification to become an Emergency Medical Technician and Paramedic. Michael continues to hold the title as the youngest licensed Paramedic in West Virginia. Michael began working for Marion County Rescue Squad shortly after graduation. He proudly served the residents of Marion County for nearly 25 years, during which he served as administrator for 15 years. Michael's biggest goal was to ensure the residents of Marion County had quality emergency health care in which life saving measures could be provided to those who were in need.
In 2018, Michael was elected to the West Virginia House of Delegates where he truly wanted to make the lives of others better. Michael's biggest accomplishment during his tenure as Delegate was when Fairmont Regional Medical Center announced their closure. Michael fought tirelessly to bring a healthcare system to Marion County and would not stop fighting for this until WVU Medicine agreed to open an emergency room. He was proud to see the hospital continue to grow beyond just providing emergency room services to residents of our community.
Michael loved recognizing people within the community who went above and beyond to make Marion County a better place. He would often give awards to ensure people were recognized for all the good things they were doing for our community. In 2020, Michael was awarded the title of Marion County Public Servant of the Year. He was deeply involved in the United Way of Marion County and formerly served as their fundraising chairman. Michael assisted the United Way of Marion County in raising more than $400,000 during that time. He also participated in the United Way's Dancing with the Stars, and to his surprise, won the competition. Michael also loved watching the WVU Mountaineers and never missed cheering them on whether it was football, basketball, baseball, or any sport they were playing.
The family would like to thank everyone for the outpouring of love and support. Recently, many people have raised our spirits by sharing stories about Michael that highlight who he was: a generous, caring, and friendly man. Michael loved to buy lunches for people and put a smile on the faces around him.
The family will receive friends and fellowship at the Hutson Funeral Home on 3171 Husky Highway in Farmington on Sunday, January 26th, from 10:00 am - 8:00 pm and on January 27th from 10:00 am until the time of the funeral service at 11am. Michael will be laid to rest at I.O.O.F Cemetery in Farmington. The family requests that attendees feel free to wear their WVU gear to honor Michael at the funeral. Friends and family will gather after the funeral service at the Farmington Community Building. Condolences may be extended to the family at www.hutsonfuneralhomes.com. The Hutson Funeral Home is honored to serve the Angelucci family.

My deepest sympathy to Michael's Dad,Melissa,Keith, and his beloved dog. My heart is broken.
I taught Michael in 2nd. Grade. I knew then he would become a caring, kind, and loving person. We had star babies that each child cared for. (Metallic colored stars in a clear tube of oil.) Michael loved and cared for them with such love, because they were going to save the earth, and bring goodness to everyone. Michael has become a star baby. He brought love and goodness to this world. I will always remember his respect, love, and ,kindness. We talked often and I will cherish those conversations forever. Michael, I will always love that little boy and the wonderful, genuine, man you became.
