Michael Arlee "Mikey" Ashby

Michael "Mikey" Arlee Ashby, 31 of West Point passed away suddenly at his home Monday, August 28, 2023.
Mikey was a Baptist by faith. He was a contractor for the city of Mt. Washington. Mikey was an outdoorsman; he enjoyed all seasons of hunting and fishing at his favorite lake. He was confident and knowledgeable about firearms; he was proud of his gun collection. He spent countless hours honing his kraft and bonding with family members while shooting clay pigeons. He was at peace while surrounded by nature. Although he may have stumbled in the past, Mikey had overcome obstacles and was thriving in his new role of being a father. His fiancé Jennifer, her son Nolan, and their daughter Anna Mae were his entire world. Anna Mae gave him purpose, she was the light of his life, his legacy will continue through her.
Mickey is survived by his fiancé Jennifer Lyttle; children Nolan Lyttle, and Anna Mae Ashby; his parents Michael and Margaret Ashby of West Point; siblings Josh Beard (Debra) of West Point, Arlo Ashby (Tina Marcum) of Buffalo, Hyme Ashby (Jessye Gleason) of Shepherdsville, and James Gribbins (Kayleigh) of West Point; numerous nieces and nephews, additional family members, and countless friends.
Funeral Service will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 6, 2023, at Maraman Billings Funeral Home. Burial is to follow in Knob Creek Cemetery.
Visitations will be on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service.
