Mike was an avid fan of the Chicago Bears and Blackhawks, and a fan of the White Sox for over 75 years. Mike's favorite pastime was doing Sudoku, which he mastered, and many 1,000-piece jigsaw puzzles. He served in the United States Marines from 1958 to 1962 and was stationed in Japan. We will miss Mike's contagious laugh and beautiful smile.
Mike is survived by his loving wife of 32 years Colleen (nee Jawor), loving father of Kimberly (Michael) Reda, Steven (Beth) Ball, Kathryn (Eric) Vincent, loving grandfather of Stephanie and Brandon Reda, Sarah, Emma, and Erin Ball. Devoted to his grand pup Greta and feline Finnegan.
He was preceded in death by his siblings, Walter (Esther), Theodore (Anna May) Ball, Elaine (Bill) Klemm, Lorraine (Joseph) Wuss.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday August 4, 2023 from 11:00am – 3:00pm at the Bloomingdale Golf Club. Located at

Military honors will be held at 11:30am and the service will begin right after the Marines service.
