STURBRIDGE: Michael L. Beaudry, 68, of McGregory Rd., Sturbridge, passed away peacefully in his home on July 8, 2025, after a brave battle with illness. He was surrounded by his loved ones at the time of his passing.
Michael is survived by his devoted wife of 47 years, Sharon (Young) Beaudry, and their two beloved daughters, Erica Caouette and her husband Daniel of Fiskdale, and Pamela Beaudry of Holland. He is also mourned by his brother David and his wife Ann Beaudry of Sturbridge, along with his three cherished grandchildren, Teagan, Leeanna, and Carson, who affectionately knew him as "Pike." He also leaves multiple aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Born in Southbridge, Michael was the son of the late Theophile and Jean (Wassmer) Beaudry. He spent his entire life in Sturbridge, where he formed deep roots in the community. A proud graduate of Tantasqua Regional High School in 1975, he went on to showcase his skills as a talented carpenter, running his own business for many years. In addition, he gained valuable experience working in several machine shops, including Boniface Tool & Die, Arland Tool & Die, and Carlin Machine.
Michael found great joy in the simple pleasures of life, particularly at their seasonal camping site on Cape Cod, where he loved spending time on the beach and fishing. He enjoyed the craft of woodworking, and his grandchildren were the lights of his life; he treasured every moment shared with them.
To know Mike was to love, whether you were family, friend, acquaintance or a customer, he treated everyone with kindness and compassion.
The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Austin Kim and his medical and office staff for the exceptional care and compassion they provided during this challenging time. His wife, children, grandchildren and son in law also extend the deepest gratitude to his brother David Beaudry and his wife Ann for the immeasurable support they provided throughout his illness.
He will be remembered fondly by all who knew and loved him.
In accordance with Michael's wishes, there will be no public calling hours or funeral services.
