Michael K. Bell, 66, of Lewistown, passed away on Sunday December 19, 2021 at his home.
Born November 5, 1955 in Lewistown, he was the son of the late Walter L. Bell and Joyce (Stimely) Bell who survives. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a niece, Erika Bell, and brother-in-law, Dr. Marty Fleishman.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his loving wife, Nancy (Kuhns) Bell, whom he married in June of 1982; his daughter, Tiffany Hoffmann and husband Kevin, of Lakeville; step-children, Stacy Fox and husband Robert, of Reedsville, Brian Semder and wife Heidi, of Carlisle, and Rodney Semder and wife Amie, of Lewistown; siblings, Linda Knepp and husband Dan, Diane Brown, Jeffrey Bell and wife Dana, and Gloria Fleishman; grandchildren, Ava, Lilah and Clara Hoffmann, and numerous nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
Mike was a member of Maitland Church of The Brethren.
He was employed many places throughout his life, but was most known for being owner/operator of The Point Store. He was a wood worker that loved to use his creativity to make gifts for loved ones. His grandchildren were the center of his universe. He will be remembered for always being involved with his family. Whether it was a get-together or a sporting event, he was there.
A funeral service in loving memory of Mike will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday December 23, 2021 at Maitland Church of The Brethren, 315 Crossover Dr, Lewistown, PA 17044, with Pastor Jeannine Leister to officiate. There will be a closed casket visitation held at the church from noon until time of service.
Interment will take place in Maitland Cemetery.
Arrangements have been entrusted to King-Barr Funeral Home LLC, 120 Logan Street, Lewistown PA 17044.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Mike's memory are respectfully encouraged to: Maitland Church of The Brethren, 315 Crossover Dr, Lewistown, PA 17044.
