Michael David Bell

Michael David Bell, 78, of Hartford City, IN, passed away Wednesday, September 24th, 2025, peacefully surrounded by loved ones in the comfort of his home. Mike was born in Hartford City, IN, on December 21, 1946, a son of the late Ralph and Crystal (Elliot) Bell. He was a 1964 graduate of Hartford City High School, proudly served in the United States Army and was formerly employed as a Quality Manager for FCC Indiana. Mike was a member of American Legion Post 159 in Hartford City and enjoyed riding his motorcycle, lifting weights, listening to the Righteous Brother's, going to lunch each day with his siblings, chasing his kids around, and spending time with family. He is survived by 2 sons: Alex Bell (Maranda), Jake Bell (Brooke), 1 daughter: Jennifer (Bell) Butcher, 2 brothers: Ralph Jr. Bell (Janet), Lee Allen Bell (Rita), 1 sister: Joyce Decamp, 7 grandchildren: Jayden, Aubrey, Brilynn, Nova, Krew, Rose, Wren and several nieces and nephews. Mike was preceded in death by his parents and 1 brother: Max Bell. Per Mike's request there will be no public services at this time. Please keep his family in your thoughts and prayers.
