Michael David Bickel

Michael David Bickel, 69, of Naples, Flordia, passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones. Born on May 9, 1956, in Columbus, Ohio, Michael was the beloved son of Henry E. and Norma J. Bickel.

Michael graduated from Deland Military School before earning his Bachelor of Arts in History from Berry College. His sharp mind, curiosity, and love for learning were qualities that guided him throughout his life and career.

He married the love of his life, Carol Benson Bickel, and together they built a home filled with laughter, devotion, and kindness. Their marriage was a true partnership, and their bond was a beautiful example of lasting love. Carol preceded him in death, but the life they created together continues to shine through their son, Jacob Bickel, whom Michael cherished deeply.

Michael enjoyed a long and successful career in automotive financing, where he was respected for his professionalism, integrity, and warmth. Beyond his work, he was known for his quick wit, gentle heart, and unwavering loyalty to his family and friends.

He is survived by his son, Jacob Bickel; his sisters, Anita Watson (Stanley) and Valerie Harmon (Mark); and many nieces, nephews, and dear friends who will forever hold him in their hearts. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Carol; his parents, Henry and Norma; and his sister, Debbie Eldridge.

Michael will be remembered for his kindness, his quiet strength, and his steadfast love for those closest to him. His legacy lives on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know him.
