Michael J. Blasko, 73, of Derry passed away Saturday, Nov. 15, 2025, in Latrobe IHS. He was born Feb. 8, 1952, in Latrobe, a son of the late Michael and Mary (Zizan) Blasko. Michael was the former owner of Blasko's Pub in Derry and was currently co-owner of MJB Trucking with his son, Michael. He enjoyed hunting and fishing with his grandkids and cherished his vacation time with them at Deep Creek Lake. Mike loved driving his dump truck even when it wasn't work-related: "One more load of stone." Michael is survived by his wife of 52 years, JoAnn (Bush) Blasko; his sons, Martin Blasko of Warrington and Michael Blasko (Leann) of Derry; his grandchildren, Sarah and Steven Blasko, and Emilee, Julee, and Ty Blasko; a brother, Hunter A. Wood II; and brothers-in-law, Bill Bush (Barb) of Latrobe and Pete Bush (Karen) of Acme.
