Michael Boggs Obituary

He was born May 13, 1957 in Union and was the son of Wilma Clarkson Boggs and the late Miles Emory Boggs.
Michael had worked in the dairy product delivery field for 40 years, the last years of delivery was with Broughton; the last 5 years he had worked in the transportation department at the Greenbrier Hotel. He had found the Lord in 1992.
Surviving is his wife of 39 years Barbara Jean Poe Boggs; mother Wilma Clarkson Boggs of Ronceverte; daughters, Jennifer Boggs Clutter (Derrick) of Williamsburg, WV, Jessica Persinger of Illinois; son Jeremy Poe of Fairlea; grandchildren, Bishop Poe, Nevaeh Poe, Michael Clutter, Matney Poe, James Clutter, Madison Persinger, J. T. Persinger, Brooklyn Persinger, Soren Poe and one grandson due in December 2024; sisters, Sharon Lomont (Chris) of Indiana, Becky Watson of Roanoke, VA. and Kathy Proctor (Mark) of Rocky Mount, VA. and numerous cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Michael's funeral services will be Monday September 30, 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Graystone Baptist Church in Fairlea with Pastor Youel Altizer officiating.
The family will be receiving family and friends on Sunday September 29, 2024 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home in Ronceverte and one hour prior to services on Monday at the Church.
