Michael was born in Salina, Kansas on May 29, 1955 to Elisha Hayes Borden and Eugenia Mock. He spent his early life in Okinawa, then Las Vegas, then San Diego, California and at last moved to Las Vegas, Nevada after graduating high school. He enjoyed motorcycles, dirt bikes, bicycling and being with his family.
Mike married Gaye in July of 1985 and were sealed together in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Michael is survived by his wife Gaye, daughters Misha Torner (Billie) and Kaitie Bean (Hunter), son Matt Borden (Chalyse), as well as 6 darling, smart, (loud, headstrong) grandchildren.
Grave site service will be performed at LaVerkin, Utah.
