Michael Robert Borysewicz

Michael Borysewicz, 73, passed away peacefully on August 24, 2024, with his wife by his side. Mike lived in Norfolk most of his life and was proud of the many lifelong relationships he built throughout his careers of teaching, coaching, and sales. He leaves to cherish his memory his family, Suzanne Puryear, Kevin and Kelly Larkin, and grandchildren, Ashby and Seth Larkin, whom he loved beyond words. He is also survived by his brothers, William Borysewicz (Terry) of Groton, CT and Mark Borysewicz (Liz) of Mechanicsville, VA, cousins Debby (Dick) Zanglin of Vermilion, OH and John (Sue) Diekman of Atherton, CA, and numerous nephews and nieces who brought him great delight. Mike's family expresses appreciation to the many medical professionals who cared for Mike with skill and caring. We also are deeply grateful to the staff of the Hoy Center, the Stone Rehab Center, and the Hospice Team from Westminster- Canterbury who cared and supported Mike and his family with compassion and grace.
