Michael D. Bouska was born on June 23, 1957 to Don and Andrea Bouska. He was the oldest child to his siblings Karen and Joe. He grew up in Ottawa Kansas and attended OHS. He was a music lover and had a vast record collection. He was a disc jockey on a college station and played bass guitar. While doing the lights and sound at a concert he met his first wife, Susan Rubick. They proceeded to have 2 daughters, Lisa and Amy.
His second marriage was New Years' Eve in 1993 to Hali Passono, which added a step-daughter Amanda to his family. He They moved to Garnett, KS then to Florida, they came back to Topeka to be closer to their grandkids. They were married until 2021, when he was widowed.
He was blessed with many grandchildren: Vanessa, Tucker, Diamond, Bishop, Emerald, Jasper, Eliza, Nora, & Raiden.
When computers came into existence he was completely obsessed. From pong on atari, to macintoshs, then to building and repairing personal computers to working as a computer analyst. The entire computer community knew him as DocPuter for decades. His lack of online presence will be felt around the world.
His snarky sense of humor was only rivaled by his love of KU and the KC Chiefs. He was also the ultimate trekkie, he's loved every single episode and movie through the decades.
Goodbye Mike, may you Live Long and Prosper.
