Michael Wayne Brantley, age 66, of Milton, FL, passed away on November 12, 2024. Born on October 25, 1958, in Montgomery, AL, Michael lived a life full of love, laughter, and service to others.
Mike served as a United States Marine for 2 years and 9 months. He was an avid gardener and enjoyed Alabama football and fishing in his free time. He often shared his knowledge of nature with friends and family. He was a big time racing fan, especially Dale Earnhardt, and loved going to Talladega.
He was a dedicated carpenter at Fisher's cabinetry until he retired in March of 2024. Mike met Tonya at Fisher's Cabinetry in 2003 and they married in 2006. He called her the "Sunshine of his life". Together they enjoyed camping trips, visiting the Smokey Mountains and renovation projects. He was a dedicated family man who enjoyed having cookouts and spending time with loved ones during the holidays.
Mike loved his daughter, Sarah Elizabeth Brantley and his sister, Valerie Campbell with all of his heart.
Mike was preceded in death by his parents, Margaret and Willie Brantley and brother, James "Jimmy" Brantley.
He is survived by his wife, Tonya Brantley; his children: Sarah Brantley, Melanie (Paul) Olivier, Melissa Carriles, and Joshua (Jennifer) Bundy; nine grandchildren: Mikala, Britton, Bella, Savannah, Jordan, Payton, Nate, Cooper, and Carter; his sister, Valerie Cambell and her daughter, Corinne (Wayne) Kite; and his cousin, Chris Browning.
Services will be held on Tuesday, November 26, 2024, at Northridge Church, 2075 East Nine Mile Road, Pensacola. Visitation will begin at 11:30 with the funeral following at 12:30. Burial will follow at Barrancas National Cemetery.
Friends and family are welcome to attend and celebrate his life. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the GoFundMe account at https://gofund.me/c6b06848.
Mike will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him, as his kindness touched the lives of many.
