Pace, FL – Elsa Clepper, 78, of Pace, Florida, formerly of Pampa, Philippines, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 22, 2025.

Born in Pampa, she was the third of five children to Carmen and Enrique Cruz. Elsa made her home in Pace for the past 45 years. She worked at Vanity Fair until her retirement in 1999 and was a devoted member of St. Rosa Lima Catholic Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charles Clepper; her brothers, Alfredo and Ramon Cruz; and her sister, Corazon (Cruz) Legaspi.

She is survived by her brother, Jaime Cruz; two sons, Arnel and Eric Givero; her daughter, Rina Rutherford (Greg); one grandson, Jimmie Colley III; and granddaughters, Brittany Givero, Abrianna Givero, Shana Rutherford, Olivia Rutherford, Aryana Givero, and Olivia Givero. She also leaves behind 12 beloved nieces and nephews.

Elsa will be fondly remembered for her warm heart, unwavering faith, deep love for family and friends, and her joy in visiting the casino. Her kindness, strength, and generosity touched many lives.

A visitation will be held Monday, July 28, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Lewis Funeral Home, Milton Chapel. A burial service will follow on Tuesday, July 29, at 11:00 a.m. at Barrancas National Cemetery.

Family and friends participating in the procession to Barrancas are asked to meet no later than 10:30 a.m. at Olive Baptist Church (Warrington Campus), 103 W. Winthrop Avenue, Pensacola.
