Michael J. Brinks

Michael J. Brinks age 74, of Hamilton, on September 26, 2023, was taken to his heavenly home by the hand of Jesus Christ after a courageous "True Grit" battle with cancer for 28 years.
Mike was an "All In" member of Cultivate Church from its very beginning and served on the Hamilton Fire Department for 20 years. He retired from Evoqua Water Technologies after 23 years of employment.
He enjoyed time with family including boating and sprint car racing.
Mike is survived by his wife of 53 years, Sandy; children, Jessica Brinks (Don) Bluman, Jason Brinks; grandson, Parker Michael; brothers, David Brinks, Dale (Judy) Brinks, Gary (Karen) Brinks; in-laws, Carol Brinks, Bruce (Jill) LaMar; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, Larry and a sister-in-law, Judy Brinks.
Funeral services will be 11;00 a.m. Tuesday, October 3, 2023, at Cultivate Community Church, 4872 136th Ave. Hamilton with Rev. Kevin Pike officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery. The visitation will be held at Cultivate Church on Monday, October 2, from 4-7 p.m. Memorial contributions may be given to the Cultivate Community Church, Tunnel to Towers www.t2t.org, Hospice of Holland, and The Leukemia And Lymphoma Society www.lls.org/mi-in.
