Michael Eugene Brown

Michael "Mike" Eugene Brown, 60 years old of Columbia, Missouri went to be with our heavenly father on October 6th, 2025, at MU Healthcare University Hospital in Columbia, Missouri. Mike had fought a courageous battle with diabetes and various other illnesses.
He was born August 16th, 1965, in Clarence Missouri. No matter what happened in life he found a way to overcome the obstacles even teaching himself to walk again twenty-three years ago after his roofing accident, amazing doctors. He was a jack of all trades from mechanic to carpenter to whatever he found needing to be done. He was known to love getting together, from throwing parties to family reunions, he loved his family. Michael loved his children & the children he raised as his own through the years. All of us had a unique version of Mike, and he loved each of us unconditionally in his own way. He had a passion for cooking and could make a mean cinnamon roll that would have you drooling. He was known for eating cold hot dogs and bologna off the roll that he would slice himself. He will be remembered for the late-night peanut butter and banana sandwiches not to forget the white rice with peanut butter and plenty of sugar. All of us have special memories of Michael and will hold them close to our hearts.
Left to honor his memory are his children De'Andre, Leelee Brown, Nautica Swearngin & Aleicia Brown.
He was preceded in death by his parents Benard & Betty Brown, his siblings Kimmie Brown, Joetta Brown, Tina Brown (Warren), James Brown, Morris Brown & his son Le'Andre Brown.

Mike was truly "Mike" until he went home to be with Jesus. The family says "Thank you" for the calls, texts, cards, food, contributions to funeral costs & all the help during their time of grief.

The family has requested for everyone to wear blue in honor of Mike's favorite color.
