Connie S. Tebbs, 77, of Jefferson City, Missouri, passed away Friday, October 17, 2025, at Villa Marie Skilled Nursing Facility.
She was born on May 13, 1948, in Jefferson City, Missouri, the daughter of Raleigh Arthur and Betty Jean (Greison) Ward, who preceded her in death.
Connie was married to Larry K. Tebbs, who also preceded her in death.
She worked at Jerry's Steak House & Lounge in Raytown, Missouri, from 1980 until her retirement in 2009. Connie loved playing cards, listening to music, especially Bob Seger, spending time at the beach and keeping up with her favorite soap operas, The Young and the Restless and The Bold and the Beautiful.
Connie is survived by one brother, Douglas Gallegos; three sisters-in-law, Cindy Ward, Stephanie Ward, and Patty Ward; one grandson, Dylan (Ashlin) Douglas; one great-granddaughter, Sadie Douglas; and her lifelong friend, Brenda Jenkins. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and numerous friends who will cherish her memory.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Mike, Alan, and Larry Ward; one sister, Cathy Miletie; one daughter, Sandra Renae Tebbs; one granddaughter, Krystal Renae Tebbs; and her companion Bill Tays.
Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Jefferson City Animal Shelter.
