Michael G. Brown

Michael G. Brown, 74, of Millsboro, DE, formerly of Sparkill and Orangeburg, NY, passed away peacefully on October 22, 2025.

Mike was a graduate of Tappan Zee High School (1970). He was a Marine Corps veteran of the Vietnam War Era. He was a longtime member of the Orangeburg and Sparkill Fire Departments.

Mike was employed by Verizon for 28 years, starting when it was NY Telephone. In his retirement he was a school bus driver for South Orangetown School District in NY and Cape Henlopen School District in DE.

He leaves behind his loving wife Anne of 42 years, children Brendan (Mary), Matt and Jennie (Trevor, fiancé), brother Tim and his grandson Tristan. He also s survived by Anne's brothers and sisters and their spouses, many nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. He is predeceased by his parents, George and Patricia Brown and sister Patricia Brown.

Visitation Will be held at the Moritz Funeral Home in Tappan, NY from 5-9pm Wednesday, 10/29.

Funeral will be held at St. Catharine's in Blauvelt NY at 11am on Thursday 10/30.
