Mr. Michael Wayne Brown, age 62
Of McEwen, TN passed away Saturday, January 10, 2026, at St. Thomas West Hospital in Nashville, TN. He was born on November 5, 1963, in Dickson, TN to Huey and Sue Brown.
Michael was a dedicated dairy farmer for 27 years, demonstrating an unwavering commitment to his work and the land he cherished. Following his time in farming, Michael served as a mechanic supervisor with the Tennessee Department of Transportation for 14 years, where he was respected for his skills and work ethic.
Outside of his career, Michael had a passion for the outdoors that brought him joy and fulfillment. He was a member of the Houston County Beagle Club, where he enjoyed rabbit hunting, particularly relishing the melody of the dogs as they ran and barked in pursuit. His love for nature extended to deer hunting and fishing, activities that allowed him to connect with the beauty of the great outdoors.
Visitation will be held from 10:00am until service time on Saturday, January 17th at Humphreys County Funeral Home.
Funeral Services for Mr. Brown will be conducted at 2:00pm Saturday, January 17, 2026, in the Humphreys County Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Della Rye officiating.
Cremation will follow the services.
