Michael Brown Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Ware-Smith-Woolever Funeral Directors - Midland Chapel on Mar. 6, 2026.
Michael Lawrence Brown, 55, of Saginaw, passed away Thursday, March 5, 2026. He was born August 13, 1970 in Saginaw, son of the late Gerald and Doris (Fisher) Brown. Michael graduated from Nouvel Catholic Central High School and immediately went into public service. He worked his entire career as a paramedic and firefighter for Genesee County, Midland, and Saginaw Township. While he enjoyed expressing his physicality every year during the Highland Games, Michael's true passion in life was being able to dedicate himself to helping others through his work.

He is survived by his children, Gerald (Brittany) Brown, Kaitlin (Dylan) Saur, Nicholas (Danielle) Burkett, and Amanda (Carter) Parent; and granddaughter, Julia Saur.

Cremation has taken place and a celebration of Michael's life will take place Sunday, June 28, 2026. The time and location will be announced at a later date. All of us at Ware Smith Woolever are honored the Brown family has entrusted us with the care of their loved one.

I enjoyed Mike's partnership during his employment with Montcalm EMS. He had a very caring and endearing nature with every patient he encountered. We often introduced ourselves to the patients as "the short and long team", which often put them at ease, or even gave a smile, and sometimes a chuckle back at us.
