Michael Wayne Brunker, Sr., known to all as Mike, was born on April 27, 1949, and passed away on Friday, December 12, 2025.
A visitation will be held on Monday, December 29, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., followed by a memorial service at 2:00 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2201 Airline Dr., Bossier City, Louisiana, with Thomas Gatti officiating. Mike was a longtime resident of the Shreveport–Bossier area.
Mike was born to Venola “Babs” Passaro and Sam Passaro. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather who lived life with hard work, humor, and heart. Known throughout the auto world as “Make It Fit Mike,” he earned respect for his skill, determination, and ability to always find a way to get the job done. Mike began working at the young age of 14, carrying that strong work ethic throughout his life. He loved his motorcycle and the freedom of the open road. Mike never met a stranger and greeted everyone with a joyful “Merry Christmas” and a hearty “Ho Ho Ho.” Above all, he had a strong faith in God, which guided his life and the way he treated others.
Mike was preceded in death by his mother, Venola “Babs” Passaro; his biological father, Quentin Brunker; his father, Sam Passaro; his sister, Margaret Passaro; and his brother, Roger Passaro.
He is survived by his loving wife, Robin Brunker; his children, Mikee, Tanya, Tammy, Michael Jr., and Toni; his cherished grandchildren, Cody, Brandon, Breelyn, Kelsey, Brynlee, Little Mikee, Axle, Michelle, Harlee, Lauren, Blaine, and Kyle; his sister, Robin Passaro; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mike’s legacy of love, laughter, faith, and hard work will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
