I am very sorry for your loss. I was acquainted with Michael through his son David. I live next door to one of Davids properties and when Michael came next door to snow plow or help David with yard work
is when we connected. He was a very nice man. He will be missed.

I grew up on 64th and Garfield, just three blocks from Mike. We went to Washington Grade School together, and were in the same classes for six years. We graduated together from Wauwatosa East (when there was no West). If I'm not mistaken, our mothers worked together at the polls at Washington School.
Though we remained good friends over the years, our individual interests took us in different directions. After graduation, we only saw each other at reunions and the occasional accidental meetings in public. But Mike always had a big smile for me and we would shake hands, hug and promise each other to try to interact more socially, or go hunting together, which sadly, we never did. Now I wish that we had taken the time.
My deepest sympathies to Mike's family in their time of sadness. He was a good guy and a good friend over our school years and remained so over the years following. May God grant him peaceful rest, until we meet again.

My deepest sympathies. May the "God of all comfort," help to ease the pain of your grief during this time.(1 Cor 1:3,4,,,
