Michael C. Burkholder

Michael C. Burkholder, age 73, of Erie, passed away at UPMC Presbyterian on Saturday, December 13, 2025. Born in Erie on June 3, 1952, he was the son of the late Clyde and Florence (Miller) Burkholder.
Mike graduated from Strong Vincent High School and was a veteran of the United States Navy serving our country during the Vietnam War. He worked for General Electric until the early 1990's then was a mailman for the United States Postal Service on a rural route.
He was a den leader for Cub Scouts, and he coached his children in a bunch of various sports when they were younger. Mike enjoyed golf and reading as well as being a movie buff. Along with his late wife, Char, they were actively involved at St. Luke Church.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Charlene (Huebel) Burkholder.
Survivors include his children, Nicholas Burkholder, wife Alison, and Laura Severo, husband Jimmy; two grandchildren, Wyatt and Reese Burkholder.
Friends may call on Monday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Brugger Funeral Homes & Crematory, Pine Avenue Branch, 845 East 38th St.
