I am sad to see that Michael has passed. I knew him as a child because my parents Bob and Marge Tuoriniemi (aka Niemi) were friends with Michael's dad Maynard since high school and of course, his mom Loretta after their marriage. I remember Micky, as we called him then, as being really into science. I remember playing with him, his brother Patrick, and my brother Rob in their backyard. I remember I had a crush on him as a little girl and at the time thought maybe we would get married someday. I remember he liked the while part of a fried egg and I liked the yolk. I remember he had a great smile.
Just a few sweet memories I thought I would share.
My belated condolences to the Cain family.
