Michael Edward Campbell
July 16, 1954 – October 10, 2024
Michael Edward Campbell, 70, of East Ridge, Tennessee, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 10, 2024. He was born in Fort Benning, Georgia, to the late Stanton and Anita Campbell. Michael grew up with his parents, who served in the United States Army, and they were stationed in many different places. In 1965, Michael moved to the Chattanooga – Northwest Georgia area, where he enjoyed living the remainder of his life. He worked at Miller Industries for over thirty years and was a member of East Ridge Baptist Church in East Ridge, Tennessee, for many years. Michael loved the Tennessee Volunteers Football and enjoyed watching every game. Go Vols! Michael's love for his family, especially his wife Sheila, was unparalleled. They enjoyed a quiet life together, always cherishing each other's company. His family immensely loved Michael, and he will be greatly missed.
Michael is preceded in death by his parents, Stanton and Anita Campbell; brothers, Peter Campbell and Ken Campbell; and his special dogs, Sam and Ben.
Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife of thirty-two years, Sheila Campbell; sister, Virginia Jones of Ringgold, Georgia; and several nieces and nephews.
The family is deeply touched by your prayers and support during this difficult time. Your kindness has been a source of comfort and strength.
A private graveside service will be scheduled at a later time.
