Mike is lovingly remembered by many, including his wife Sally, kids Mick, Katie and Kelly, daughter-in-law Jira, sister Eileen, and many nieces, nephews, in-laws, cousins and friends. Mike leaves the world a better place, whether from his contributions to Brother Rice and St. Marys, to his involvement in his community and local government, and to the pure joy he brought to those he knew.
You could always tell how someone knew Mike from their nickname of choice: from Tutor to Mama to Swats to Big T and so many more. Mike's favorite hobbies included gardening and producing Rolling Meadows' finest tomatoes, designing jolly model train displays, being disappointed by Chicago sports teams (with the occasional moments of joyous victories) and, most importantly, chatting away the day with great friends, great stories and a great sense of humor. Mike will continue to live on in all our hearts and through the thousands of unique and special memories that we all cherish.

Joe's and my sincerest condolences are sent to Sally and their family in this sad, sad loss of Mike. He went way to young for sure. God bless Mike with Eternal Life in Our Lord's Paradise, and may all Mike's family be blessed with love, peace and joy knowing Mike's journey through this life has brought him to Our Lord.
