He was born on October 1, 1982 in Harrisburg, PA the son of Michael Carroll, Sr. and Kathy (Stroup) Carroll.
Michael was married to Teresa (Shuey) Carroll for 19 years. He worked as a site supervisor at Lancaster County Solid Waste Management Authority and a high school wrestling coach for Halifax Area School District.
Michael was deeply involved in the community youth sports programs. He spent countless hours as a coach and mentor to the Halifax Midget Football Organization, Halifax Elementary Wrestling Program as well as the Halifax Midget Baseball Association. His passion for sports was immeasurable. He was a diehard fan of Notre Dame, Chicago Bears and Baltimore Orioles.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with family and close friends. Michael touched the lives of so many individuals with his intense passion for life. He developed countless relationships throughout his time that gave him a connection anywhere he went.
In addition to his wife and parents he is survived by his daughter Lauren, sons Teegan and Benton, brother Benjamin and his wife Miss of Halifax, grandparents "Mama and Pap" Robert E., Sr. and Helen M. Stroup of Millersburg, and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his "Nana and Pap" Alfred L., Jr. and Mary L. Carroll and Uncle "Jim" James D. Carroll.
The family will receive friends on Friday, June 30th from 1:00-3:00 PM at Grace United Methodist Church, Millersburg with a memorial service to begin at 3:00 PM.
The family requests that memorial donations may be made to Halifax Communities that Care, and donations can be dropped off at any MidPenn Bank financial center, noting Michael Carroll Fund in the memo.

My deepest condolences for your loss. I appreciated the positivity and kindness that Mike brought to work each day. He always made time for people and truly cared about those around him and his family - oh how Mike would light up when he spoke about his family! May your memories of Mike offer comfort to you.
