Michael “Patrick” Carroll, 54, passed away on Sunday, March 30, 2025, lovingly surrounded by his family. Patrick played and worked hard, loved with a kind heart and always had plenty of patience. His hobbies included playing the violin, the organ and rejoicing in song. He was an advent reader and could remember and recite history, facts and memories at the spur of a moment. His conversations were lively, educated and detailed.
He had a smile that really, truly, showed the joy that he carried with him and how much he found delight in others. His heart was full of love for the children, stepchildren and grandchildren that he so proudly gave his time and attention to.
He is survived by 3 daughters, Victoria Jade Hogg and husband, Sterling Ryan Hogg of Hondo, TX; Elena Carroll Lewis and husband, Kevin Michael Lewis of Savannah, GA; and Danielle Elise Carroll of Port Wentworth, GA. His is also survived by 2 stepdaughters, Lindsey Lee Brown of Bloomingdale, GA and Crystal Renee Ferron and husband, Brett Richard Ferron of Ellabell, GA. and 1 stepson, Johnny Mack Brown of Ellabell, GA.
Patrick also leaves memories and traditions with his 15 adoring grandchildren.
Born April 11, 1970, in Fayetteville, NC, he was the son of Margaret Memsen Carroll of Burlington, NC and was preceded in death by his Father, Michael Eugene Carroll of Fuquay Varina, NC. He is also survived by his sister, Michele Carroll Harris and husband, George Thomas “Tommy” Harris of Burlington, NC, numerous Uncles, Aunts, Cousins, Nephews and Friends.
A celebration of his life will be held on Friday, May 2, 2025, at the Gamble Funeral Service, 410 Stephenson Ave, Savannah, GA 31405. Family and friends will gather for visitation from 2-3 pm, followed by a service in the chapel at 3pm.
