Michael Robert Carroll

Michael Robert Carroll, 47, of Olmsted Falls, died on Tuesday, December 23, 2025, at his residence surrounded by his loving family after fighting courageously with a lengthy illness. Born on January 5, 1978, in Middleburg, Ohio, he was the son of Catherine (nee Bennett) and Jeffrey Carroll.

Michael grew up in Parma and was a 1997 Parma High School graduate. Enjoying travel, he was a truck driver for Ross Transportation. Michael’s family meant everything to him; he was a great husband, father and friend. His other passion was the world of racing. He spent many years behind the wheel in drag and slot car racing. Some of his favorite memories took place at Dragway 42, Thompson Raceway, and Summit Motorsports.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 23 years, Monique (nee Minnich) Carroll; daughter, Mallory Carroll; parents, Jeffrey and Catherine Carroll; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Angel and Tim Gallion; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and his racing family.

He is preceded in death by his in-laws, John and Pam Minnich and his grandparents.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 30 from 4-8 p.m. at Norton-Eastman Funeral Home, 370 S. Main St., Wellington. A graveside service will take place on January 9, 2026 at 11 a.m. at Greenwood Cemetery, Wellington.
