Terrell Corn Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Waite Funeral Home Brunswick on Jan. 8, 2026.
Our beloved Terry Corn, of Brunswick, Ohio, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 7th. He was a man who loved the Lord, loved his country, and loved his family deeply.

Terry was born in Columbus, Ohio, to the late Orville and Eula Jean (Walcutt) Corn and they moved to Parma, Ohio as he was growing up. After graduation from Parma High School, he enrolled at The Ohio State University as his father and mother had before him. He left Ohio State after he was drafted during the Vietnam War, and he did his duty and joined the U.S. Navy. After his military service had ended, he worked for AT&T for a majority of his career, before he found a position close to home at MTD, where he would work until his retirement.

He is predeceased by his devoted wife Remi (Sherwin) Corn, his sister Eva Jane (Corn) Hartline, his sister Donna (Corn) Klein and his stepson Phil Kenderes (survived by Jen Kenderes).

Terry is survived by his devoted wife Shirley Kenderes Corn, his sister Lynette Corn, brother-in-law Gary Klein, and brother-in-law Robert Fuller. He was the proud father of David (Danielle) Corn, Melissa (Blake) Corn Haugland and stepfather to John Kenderes, Sr. (Kelley Pastor), Joseph (Jill) Kenderes, and Brian Kenderes. He is also survived by his 18 grandchildren: Addison Gainer; Bella and Sophia Haugland; Natalie, Charlotte, Evelyn and Jonathan Corn; Heather (Michael) Kurtz; Megan (Nick) Brown; Joshua, John Jr., Lauren, Matthew, Marissa, Trevor, Anthony, Samantha and Hannah Kenderes; and his 4 great-grandchildren: Owen and Natalie Kurtz; Jackson and Elizabeth Brown.

Terry was a great listener, always taking on the concerns of others. He was quite handy and could fix all kinds of problems around the house when needed. Later in life, he served in different ministries at Christ Church in Columbia Station during his 16 years as a member. He loved ice cream, his Ohio State Buckeyes and the Cleveland Browns. His legacy will live on through his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren who will continue to pass along the stories of his life.

Friends and family are invited to celebrate his life at Waite Funeral Home, 3300 Center Rd. in Brunswick on Tuesday, January 13th from 4-8pm. The funeral service will take place on Wednesday, January 14th at 11am at Christ Church, 23080 Royalton Rd. in Columbia Station. Entombment will follow at Hope Memorial Gardens, Hinckley.
