Michael Castrianni, age 43, passed away on August 7, 2024, at Truman Medical Center in Kansas City, MO. Born on November 23rd, 1980, in Overland Park, KS, Michael was the beloved son of Ronald Castrianni and Gail Hunter.
Michael lived his life surrounded by the things he loved most: music, cars, and the company of his cherished family and friends. He also enjoyed the thrill of visiting the casino, where he often spent time. His passion for working on cars was matched only by his deep appreciation for music, which brought him immense joy throughout his life. Michael's remarkable sense of humor made him a joy to be around, and he had a unique ability to bring laughter and smiles to those who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Salvatore Castrianni; grandmother, Delores Castrianni; grandfather, David Pont; and brother, Stephen Castrianni. Michael is survived by his mother, Gail Hunter; father, Ronald Castrianni; stepfather, Roy Hunter; sister, Andrea Routson; grandmother, Marlene Pont; as well as his aunts, uncles, many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to a charity of one’s choice. Michael will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but his memory will live on in the laughter and smiles he left behind.
May he rest in peace.
