Michael Mumford Chandler

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Michael Mumford Chandler, who left us on December 23, 2025, at the age of 70. Born on June 23, 1955, in Salisbury, MD, Michael was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend whose infectious laughter and warmth brought joy to everyone around him.
Michael dedicated his professional life as a diesel mechanic in the poultry industry, where his skills and dedication were widely respected. He was known for his talent in and passion for working on small engines. Michael was a caring and supportive man who took immense pride in his family. His ability to tell a good joke and make people laugh was a hallmark of his personality, and those who knew him will carry those fond memories close to their hearts.
Michael is survived by his beloved wife Debora "Debbie" Chandler; daughter, Shannon Blanchard (Sean); grandchildren, Nora Jane Blanchard and James Michael Blanchard; and siblings, Ray Chandler (Teresa), Cindy Riner (Wade), Eddie Chandler, and Janie Jones (Jim). He was preceded in death by his parents, William "Bud" Edward Chandler and Nancy Ellen Chandler.
Michael's presence will be sorely missed, but his spirit will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him.
