Michael John Chapman, 74 of Oklahoma City, OK passed away on September 16, 2025. Born in Oklahoma City on November 19, 1950, Mike was the son of John and Grace Chapman.
Mike attended Mount St. Mary’s High School and went on to graduate from the University of Oklahoma with a degree in psychology. He enjoyed a long career in social services with DHS.
Despite never playing sports, Mike had a vast knowledge and love for sports. His favorite being his Oklahoma Sooners.
After a chance encounter at their high school reunion, Mike met Linda and the two renewed their romance. They married on October 18, 1997.
Mike is survived by his wife Linda; mother, Grace; his stepchildren, Melissa, Angie and Eric; his grandson Cameron; best friend and brother, Gary, and other close family and friends.
Mass of Christian burial will be held for Mike on Friday, September 19, 2025, at Little Flower Catholic Church (1125 S. Walker Ave.) at 10:00AM. An Evening Prayer Service will be held Thursday September 18, 2025, at Smith and Kernke N. May Ave. (14624 N. May Ave.) at 6:00PM. With burial at Immaculate Conception Cemetery immediately following the Mass on Friday.
