Michael R. Clester, 64, passed away on May 21, 2025, in Marion, Indiana. Born on January 5, 1961, in Grant County, Indiana, Michael spent his life rooted in the community where he was raised and educated.

A 1979 graduate of Eastbrook High School, Michael was known for his good spirit and lighthearted nature. He had a natural gift for humor and was often the jokester among friends and family. Even during times of personal health struggles, he remained positive and uplifting to those around him.

Michael had a deep love for the game of pool. Whether playing competitively or casually with friends, he found joy and camaraderie at the table. His passion for the game reflected his focus and dedication-traits that carried through many aspects of his life.

He is survived by his son, Derron (Tiffany) Clester, and he was a caring grandfather of Konnor, Nolan and Titan who took pride in being present and supportive in his grandchildren's lives. He is also survived by his brother Thomas (Melinda) Clester and sister Debra (Ray) Seager.

Michael was preceded in death by his father, Rolland E. Clester, and his mother, Bonnie (Embree) Mathias.

A memorial service to honor Michael's life will be held at a later date.

May his memory bring comfort to those who knew him.
