Michael Clifford Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by McNearney - Schmidt Funeral and Cremation on Jan. 30, 2026.
Michael J. Clifford, age 75, of Bloomington, MN, passed away on Wednesday, January 28, 2026, at Methodist Hospital in St. Louis Park, MN.

Mike was born in Minneapolis, MN, on January 23, 1951, the son of John and Jean (Stoffel) Clifford. He proudly served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.

For over 20 years, Mike was employed at Nordic Ware in St. Louis Park. When they were younger, he and Lynne along with other family members bowled in a couples league. He also enjoyed fishing, going to movies with Erin when she was young, and watching the MN sport teams, especially the Vikings and Twins. Mike was easy to buy presents for, being an avid reader, you could always get a book or gift card for a local bookstore.

Preceded in death by his wife, Lynne; parents; and brother, Jim. Survived by his daughter, Erin (Jim) Budin; (and Jim's children, Jacob (Ryan), Lindsay (Andy), Josh (Mateya), and Luke; and great-granddaughter, Hayden). Also survived by his brothers, Tom, Bob (Cindy) and Paul; along with many other cousins, nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Visitation Saturday, February 21, 2026, from 10-11 AM, followed by a Funeral Service at 11 AM, all at McNearney-Schmidt Funeral and Cremation, 1220 3rd Ave. East, Shakopee, MN, 952-445-2755.
