Jeffrey A. Cheever Jr.

Jeffrey A. Cheever, Jr., age 46, of Shakopee, MN, passed away on Sunday, February 15, 2026, at St. Francis Regional Medical Center in Shakopee.

Jeff was born and raised in Shakopee, on November 21, 1979, the son of Jeff, Sr. and Annette (Ring) Cheever. He graduated from Shakopee High School, and was employed recently at Quality Forklift as a painter.

Throughout life, Jeff lived life to the fullest, and was a true daredevil and adventurer. He had fun with everything he did, which included BMX bike racing, snowmobiling, and a joy of hot rod cars.

Jeff is survived by his father, Jeff, Sr.; grandmother, Joyce; and many other close relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Annette; and grandparents, Butch and Shirley Ring, and Richard Cheever.

Services at McNearney-Schmidt, 1220 3rd Ave. East, Shakopee: Visitation Sunday, February 22, 2026, from 3-7 PM, and Monday, February 23 from 10:30-11:30 AM; followed by Prayer Service at 11:30 AM. Interment Catholic Cemetery, Shakopee.
