Michael "Mikey" Thomas Connell, Jr., 42, of Providence, passed away tragically and unexpectedly on Saturday, August 16, 2025. Mikey was the devoted and loving husband to Kristin Coia Connell. Born in Warwick, he was the son of Michael T. Connell, Sr. and Barbara Malo.

Mikey was an apprentice at the age of fifteen in the trade of machining under his uncle, Frank "Buzz" Connell, and worked as a machinist engineer for several years at Swissline Precision, Alpha Grainger and Karl Storz. He gained many greatly valued friends and coworkers.

Alongside Mikey's wife, Kristin, and his parents, Michael and Barbara, he is survived by his greatest and most treasured accomplishment, his sons, Jared Cartwright, Tristan Connell, Cayden Connell, and Axl Connell. He is also survived by his brother, Joseph Connell and his wife Stephanie, who have both shown many years of unwavering love for Mikey, Kristin, and their four sons.

Mikey is an irreplaceable and unforgettable, husband, father, son and brother. Mikey will be beyond greatly missed and will live forever in all of our hearts.

His Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, October 19, 2025 at 3:00PM at THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Warwick. Visitation will be held prior to the Service from 12:00PM-3:00PM.
