"Cherishing Every Life with Heartfelt Service"

A beloved father, son, brother and friend passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by family in the early morning hours of Saturday, November 8th, 2025 at the age of 68. Born on Monday, October 14th 1957 in Nashville, Tennessee.

In his prime he ran his own roofing company including running commercials on the local radio stations. He was a true Craftsman able to build or repair pretty much anything. That earned him the nickname Superman by some of his closest friends and coworkers.

Mike was the backbone of of his family. Always putting others needs above his own. He would help anyone he could.

Spaghetti and goulash were his favorite home-cooked meals and he also enjoyed dinners out with family and friends at his favorite Chinese restaurant.

He is survived by his children, Jamie, Lori, Michael and Brittany, numerous cousins, his nephew, Jimmy granddaughters, Destiny, Kara, Alexandra and Madison. As well as numerous great grandchildren.

He is proceeded in death by his parents Horace and Peggy, his brothers Jimmy and Mark. Numerous aunts and uncles and his girlfriend,Kay.

He really love the simple things in life like spending time with his son helping restore his old Pontiac trans Am. He loved watching movies with his daughter for hours as well as car shows with his son. He loved going to races and car shows.

He was a big fan of classic country and rock and roll music His favorites include Hank Williams, Jr, Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson, and The Rolling Stones.

Above all, he was a real history buff He loved WW2 and JFK books, movies and documentaries. He also had a passion for classic NASCAR. His favorite was Sterling Marlin whom he also knew was a child. He would talk about these things with anyone who'd listen.

The nickname Superman truly fit him. He stayed strong and was a fighter until the very end.

His legacy is one of loyalty to family, wisdom and hard work. He was a patriot who loved his country and flew the American flag on his front porch.

Mike was truly One of a kind. They certainly don't make Legends like him anymore. He will be deeply missed by everyone.

He was saved and he's with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ now. This isn't goodbye. It's we'll see you later.

Please remember his family and loved ones in your thoughts and prayers.

The time Lori and I were together. We were struggling through the recession. Mike knew it and stopped by the house and peeled off $200 cash. He was just that kind of man. RIP BROTHER

I'll never forget the time when I was about 4y/o. We were living in the old house in Franklin and you were leaving for work. I threw a tantrum to come with you but you said No so I went outside and stood on the bumper, determined to go. You got in the truck and started backing down the driveway and then you stopped.
You told me years later you happened to look in your rear view mirror and see my little finger holding onto the tailgate and I nearly gave you a heart attack.
You said you had nightmares about it for years. So Sorry Daddy! I love you so much and miss you so much already. I always feel like you're going to walk in the door any minute. I wish you would!
